The Bachelor of Pharmacy degree is popularly known as B Pharm. It is a four year Degree course. In order to be eligible, one must pass 10+2 or equivalent with biology/mathematics as one of the subjects, or complete a D. Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) for lateral entry in 2nd year. In U.P. Technical University it is also mandatory to give UPSEE entrance examination in order to be eligible for the course.

Admission to Courses
(Category –I)
Admissions to UPTU Affiliated Courses B.Pharma (at Agra SGI Campuses Only)
85% of the seats are filled by the University through State Entrance Examination (SEE-UPTU'09), depending on the rank obtained by the student.
B. Pharm -
(i) Rank in SEE-UPTU'10
(ii)10+2 with Physics & Chemistry and any one of Maths/Bio./Computer Science with 55% marks.
All B. Pharm IInd year –Direct Admission-
(i) Rank in SEE-UPTU'10
(ii) Diploma in pharmacy with 60%.
Lapsed Seats – Lapsed seats are those where in the students who opt for a college during and offered admission by UPTU but do not join or withdraw thereby creating a set of vacant seats which are termed as Lapsed seats.
These seats may be filled by subsequent counseling of UPTU or the University may authorize the college to fill up the seats, if counseling sessions are over.
Registration - Students seeking admission through the Management quota or against anticipated lapsed seats; (and meeting the eligibility criteria as stated above), may register with the Admission Cell along with a demand draft of Rs. 30,000/- drawn in favor of the College where admission is being sought, payable at Agra and appear in an assessment test and await their turn. The admission will be announced as per the laid down procedure.
